Used in the workshop for fabrication jobs, installs, and general drilling work.

This is the sort of drill set that covers nearly everything you need day to day. From drilling aluminium and steel to quick workshop jobs, it’s got a solid range of common sizes plus the bonus stubbie folding knife which always ends up getting used more than you expect.

The bright HSS drill bits give clean, reliable drilling performance, and the included case keeps everything organised and easy to grab on the job.

What I use it for:

Drilling aluminium and mild steel

General workshop and fabrication work

Pilot holes and accurate drilling

Keeping commonly used drill sizes organised

Quick on-site jobs with the bonus folding knife

Why I rate it:

It’s a solid all-round drill set with the sizes you actually use in the workshop. Having everything organised in one case saves time, and the bonus knife is handy to keep nearby for opening boxes, trimming material, or general workshop use.

Real workshop tip:

When drilling metal, use steady pressure with cutting lubricant instead of forcing the drill bit. You’ll get cleaner holes and much better drill bit life.

Safety Information

Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection when drilling. Ensure drill bits are securely fitted and suitable for the material being drilled. Use correct drill speeds and lubrication where required. Follow safe workshop practices at all times.

Intended Use

Designed for general-purpose drilling in metals, plastics, and timber. Suitable for workshop, fabrication, maintenance, and trade applications.

 Limitations

Not designed for masonry or hardened materials unless specifically rated. Incorrect speeds, overheating, or misuse may reduce drill bit life.
